Spotlight Research

A conference presentation is in progress. A slide titled "Mapping the STEM Microcredential Landscape" is displayed behind two presenters and an audience. The slide includes text about educational innovations and technology, a QR code, and a web address. A presenter gestures with his right hand while speaking. Another presenter points to the screen with a pen. The audience is seated at tables with water bottles and notebooks.

From Frameworks to Practice in STEM Microcredentials

A new two‑volume series, “Mapping the Landscape of STEM Microcredentials,” edited by UF researchers, offers a rigorous, cross‑sector synthesis of how microcredential systems are defined, designed, quality‑assured, and evaluated. Bridging theory and practice through foundational frameworks and global case studies, it brings coherence to how skills are demonstrated and recognized—strengthening pathways from learning to career.
